Machine Learning | What Is Machine Learning? | Introduction To Machine Learning | 2021 | Simplilearn

This Machine Learning basics video will help you understand what Machine Learning is, what are the types of Machine Learning - supervised, unsupervised & reinforcement learning, how Machine Learning works with simple examples, and will also explain how Machine Learning is being used in various industries. Machine learning is a core sub-area of artificial intelligence; it enables computers to get into self-learning mode without being explicitly programmed. When exposed to new data, these computer programs are enabled to learn, grow, change, and develop by themselves. So, the iterative aspect of machine learning is the ability to adapt to new data independently. This is possible as programs learn from previous computations and use “pattern recognition” to produce reliable results.

What is Virtual Reality?

Virtual reality, or VR, is a new form of technology that’s been growing in popularity. Virtual reality immerses you in a 3D environment that seems real, taking away the limitations of the real world to allow you to go wherever you want and see what you’re interested in. It’s a simulated experience used in gaming, entertainment, educational, and professional environments to let people have experiences that may be dangerous or entirely impossible in real life. Once inside this environment, you can explore and interact with everything inside. Virtual reality tricks our brains into believing that what we see and hear while wearing the VR headset is real.

What's the difference between net-zero and carbon neutral?

Is there a difference between net-zero and carbon neutral? Yes.

This 2023 Accenture report delves into the disconnect between people's daily lives and the prevailing notions of sustainability promoted by organizations. Through a life-centric, anthropological approach, the study examines personal sustainability behaviors across eight countries, exploring why traditional methods have failed to engage the broader population effectively. The findings emphasize the need to redefine sustainability in a way that resonates with human values, suggesting that organizations should shift their focus from merely offering sustainable options to fostering a culture that integrates sustainability into everyday life. This approach aims to close the "Relevancy Gap" and make sustainability initiatives more meaningful and actionable for individuals.

This accounting framework, called the triple bottom line, went beyond the traditional measures of profits, return on investment, and shareholder value to include environmental and social dimensions. So, what is the triple bottom line? What are those three dimensions and how to measure them? Are there any real-world examples? What about its benefits and limitations? In this video, I will discuss these questions with you.
